Abseiling at Millersdale's famous 'Bridge 75'. · 13 September 2015

The Centre is a self-help, non-profit organisation. We aim to improve the quality of life of people affected by multiple sclerosis, their families, friends and carers, by encouraging a positive attitude. We provide therapies (including Oxygen, reflexology, and physiotherapy), information, counselling and practical support

Story

Imagine an old railway bridge with pillars and arches, spanning a narrow gorge, and one of the arches is over a swift-moving river. Welcome to Millers Dale Bridge!

My Abseiling challenge is to abseil over the arch, which is above the River Wye. This gives you an 80 foot abseil of which 70 feet is free hanging!
