We’re Breast Cancer Now, the charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing care. We’re here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future. By 2050, we believe everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live – and be supported to live well. But we need to act now.

Story

Hello!

Me again...

Fact of the day: 32 people die a day of breast cancer...

...this is mental.

So, I'm fundraising for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.  It's a mega amazing cause and sadly a horrible disease that seems to be impacting the lives of more and more people.  The charity are saving lives by finding the causes of breast cancer, improving detection, diagnosis, treatment and services.

All of these things are very close to my own heart and probably lots of yours too after witnessing what a nasty, cruel disease this is... and anything working towards making peoples lives better can't be bad, hey?

Breakthrough Breast Cancer is more than a name. It’s a force. A force of thousands of people across the UK working together with a single-minded ambition to stop women dying from breast cancer.

So, ANY donation would be superdooper.  Literally ANYTHING, just a few spondoolies helps to make a difference.   Just incase it looks like I'm going on a cycling jolly at everyone else's expense, I will be donating £100 myself...and I PROMISE you it's going to be a tough slog and probably only jolly for the first 10 miles before the hills commence....! (That's 90 miles of discomfort)

Donating through JustGiving can be anonymous, it is also simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to read through this.  Here's a link to the website if you want to check out the work they do:

Much love and wish me luck for the ride on the 4th Aug,

B
