Story
On June 18th, an estimated 50, 000 riders will raise millions of pounds for charity in the world famous British Heart Foundation London to Brighton bike ride. Among them, for the fifth year running, will be a team of students and staff from Hampstead School.
Students from Hampstead have been training for the 56mile ride to Brighton since Easter, using the school gym before and after school. They will be accompanied all the way by a staff team.
Not only do we hope to raise lots of money for the British Heart Foundation, we hope that this year’s London to Brighton event will encourage even more of our students and staff, in addition to the many that already bike to school, to get cycling.
Hampstead is Camden’s lead school in sustainable travel and cycling initiatives.
