After attending my first ever Pro Corda chamber music course aged 11, I was instantly drawn to the sense of connection and collaboration between both the students and the staff. Pro Corda's aim of providing unique musical opportunities to children of all backgrounds is one that strongly resonates with me. I will be part of a small group of students that will represent Pro Corda at a chamber music festival in Florence this autumn. As part of this, I have committed to help them raise funds. The two parts of this will be running the annual Matterhorn Ultraks race on 25th August, and organising an informal concert at my home in September.

The Matterhorn Ultraks is a trail running event in Zermatt, Switzerland. I will run the "Active" race, which is 19km long plus 1150m of elevation together with my dad, brother and about 700 other participants.
