Members of the men's football club at the University of Gloucestershire are running the Cheltenham half marathon in aid of Football Beyond Borders.

As a football club, we wanted to get invokvrd in a charity event. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for a cause that we can relate to. Football Beyond Borders was the perfect choice. 

Football Beyond Borders is a charity that looks to inspire young people to achieve what they want to achieve and fulfil their potential, using a football theme as an engagement tool.

As players, we know the benefits playing football has had on our lives but it is great to see how football can have such an impact on underprivileged  children, not only physically, but also on their education by engaging them more and keeping them motivated.
