Action for Southern Africa (ACTSA) campaigns with the people of Southern Africa as they strive to build a better future. Working for rights, equality and sustainable development across the region. ACTSA is the successor organisation to the Anti-apartheid movement.

Story

When I got talked into doing this I thought "this is going to hurt - a lot" - and having bumped up the training miles, I was right. But a challenge is a challenge - and so far so good.

ACTSA was established as the successor organisation to the Anti-Apartheid Movement at the call of Nelson Mandela and others, to campaign for development, democracy and rights for the people of the region. ACTSA works on issues including gender equality, democracy, and rights for the people of Zimbabwe and Swaziland, and fighting the terrible impact of HIV/AIDS.

It's a great organsation that makes a real difference and one which I'm proud to have been a member of for many years.

So please support development and democracy for southern Africa by sponsoring me to run hard and complete 26.2 miles this April. It will only take you a few seconds, and you'll be giving to a great cause.

Thanks for visting and give us what you can,

Cheers,

Ben
