Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Ben Sambrook is a fellow pupil of my son Isaac and at seven years of age was diagnosed with high-grade Glioma which is a rare and aggressive brain tumour.
That was three years ago and since then he has had complicated brain surgery and extensive treatment to combat this serious illness enduring months of dis-comfort. Fortunately, against all odds he is still leading the full and typical life of a 10 year old enjoying sports such as football and basketball. However, he still has to be checked every three months.
Ben's parents soon realised the research in this area is extremely under-funded and there hasn't been a significant break-through in 20 years and still as yet, the cancer is incurable.
This is where you and I come in. I, along with two friends will be cycling from the bottom of the country to the top in seven days. Yes that's right seven days! That's 130 painful, bottom pounding miles per day with only some padding and lycra between me and my saddle! So come on, dig deep and help us to help them.
Please give generously!
