Story
After running the Marathon des Sables last year I was looking the next challenge to raise money for Universal Chance. As you'll all be aware each challenge I try and surpass the last and set myself a goal that I genuinely don't know if I can complete.
I've never run 100 miles in one go before but on the 15th September that's exactly what I'll be trying to do in Nottingham competing in the Robin Hood 100. As usual the training has been managing multiple injuries. But on the positive I've got around the Manchester and Liverpool marathons and 100km ultra Race to the Stones. It's going to be tough and if I make it I'm expecting to be running for between 26 and 28 hours.
Once again I'll be raising money for the great work of Universal Chance. We continue our work at Buhinga Primary School in Uganda imminently starting our third phase of work to put in sustainable energy at the school. We're also putting the final touches to agreeing our second project helping a school in Cambodia. The things all our projects have in common are fantastic children from impoverished backgrounds that really need our help.
