Brathay Trust - Brathay Windermere Marathon 2012 · 20 May 2012 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Brathay Marathon around lake Windermere to challenge myself and help Brathay in the challenge they face supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged children in the Uk.
Brathay works with many of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people to help them develop the skills, confidence and motivation to make positive choices in their lives.

The Brathay Marathon is on the 20th May 2012 following a course which is a complete circuit of Windermere, England's largest lake, the Brathay Windermere Marathon takes in Hawkshead, Newby Bridge, Bowness and Waterhead.
I am currently in training for the marathon and struggling with the balanced diet allegedly a Friday night on the ale followed by a Saturday morning fry up is not the best preperation! I have set a target of under 3 hours 50 minutes, but as completing a marathon is a life time goal for myself I will be happy to just finish.
