The Cardinal Hume Centre supports homeless young people, badly housed families and people from the local community with little or no income. We aim to give people the skills, tools and confidence to break out of poverty and build better lives. People matter.Your support will make a difference.

Story

Last year I hurtled around London by night like a man possessed  (along with 4000 others) and raised £1800 plus (!) for the Cardinal Hume Centre.  It was ridiculously good fun and in the end I rode 85 miles.  All  you, my sweet friends, were so generous, and the money helped pay for  five sheltered-housing flats the Centre had acquired. A year on, the welfare cuts are just as sharp and for many Londoners it may be even tougher out there. The Cardinal Hume Centre works miracles to support the vulnerable and the homeless; anybody who knocks on their door is helped. This fabulous, well-organised and compassionate charity is well worth your generosity. Let me know if you'd like to visit their premises, even become a mentor, teach English, share your skills, wisdom and kindness. Or you can give a little donation here. Thank you ;-)
