In November this year, I will be attempting to ride a mountain bike for 250 miles across Costa Rica over 5 days. For those of you that have known me for a long time you will know that my athletic days left me in my 20's. Now 43 this is my mid-life crisis !! - having said that; my other half will be pleased that a Ferrari will not be turning up outside in our parking slot! 

I have not been on a bike since I was 13 or 14 so even the training has had its comical moments. I still have a lot to do in the next couple of weeks in preparation for the bike ride and require some motivation. That's where you come in....

I am raising money for a hospice that offers fantastic care for babies and infants who are seriously or terminally ill. I cannot imagine anything worse for those families so please donate what you can as every little bit counts. Please take a moment to visit their website; a very worthy cause!
