Story

Louise is my daughter. Her heart stopped on 1st Jan 2019, mine broke into pieces. She was 4.5 yo. She was suffering from a rare genetic condition called CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder & multiple unnecessary brain surgeries.

Tons of negative emotions have been surrounding me since then and I wanted to do something practical about them.

One of the many things Louise taught me is that health is actually not a granted element of life. Some have a good health, some would love to be healthy but will never be unfortunately. But some like me could have a good one and neglect it whereas health can leave you in the glimpse of a eye, to let a world of pain start. So it was time to do something about my health... especially to honour Louise's relentless & purely out of this world fight for life.

Being clearly overweight, I challenged myself to lose 20kg (3.15 stones) in 3 months, asking colleagues, friends, family & anybody who wants to help... to support me in that journey, in sponsoring me £1 per kilo I lose, so up to £20 by the end of the 3 months period.

For my sisters & brothers outside the UK, let's count £1 = 1€ = $1 etc to simplify the concept.

100% of donations will go to CDKL5 UK charity or any other local CDKL5 charity.
