This page has been set up in celebration of Ben's life following his tragic and untimely death from Sepsis at the young age of only 20. 

For those of you who knew and quite simply, loved Ben; you will agree that he had the ability to light up a room with his smile. He was respected for his kind and loving nature that he extended to all he came across be that family, friends, work colleagues, customers or even strangers. There was just something about him that would leave you smiling, he possessed a truly genuine capacity to care for others.  

Sadly despite Ben having enjoyed many things in his life including being an active member of Maldon Air Cadets 1207 Squadron, he began to develop symptoms that were later diagnosed in October 2017 as a spinal tumour.  He bravely underwent extensive surgery to successfully remove the tumour on 29th November 2017 . Devastatingly he had a severe near fatal reaction to the operation and as a result spent twelve weeks in Neuro Critical care. He battled to get better but tragically he had complications resulting in Sepsis  which heartbreakingly ended his life on the 20th February 2018.
