Christmas can be hard when you're alone. Christmas can be very hard when you're elderly and alone. Christmas can be extremely, overwhelmingly, impossibly hard when you're elderly and alone during a global pandemic. To try and help out, I've decided to take part in the Run Up To Christmas campaign... and to challenge myself to run 10km (about 6.2 miles) every day for 25 days, ending on Christmas Day. I run regularly but not on this scale, and genuinely don't know how well I'll manage, but that's the point!

Anything and everything you can give at this difficult time of year is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
