Bernard has been a resident at New Hope since he was 4. When he arrived he was severely under nourished. was the size of an average 1 year old and had learning difficulties. He has recently been based at a special school called Angels and has been making great progress.

Recently he broke his arm and it was set in plaster. Unfortunately when the plaster was removed it was evident that something was wrong. His arm is twisted and Bernard now needs major surgery to fix it. 

The surgery is estimated to cost £1500.

In his short life Bernard has already had more than enough bad luck and we would love to be able to help him get his arm fixed permanently.
