When Bernhard retired, Sustrans was the charity he wanted to give his time and energy to. Predictably he soon rose from being a path ranger to take on the role of volunteer coordinator in Plymouth. In this role he sat on Plymouth Cycling Campaign's committee, and also  organised work days, energising his team and igniting their enthusiasm for the task in hand (even if it was just sweeping leaves!)

Sadly he can't give any more of his time or energy to the charity; but your donation will help them to make the streets a bit quieter and more accessible, as well as opening new cycle routes across the county.
