Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

I am taking on the My Santa Run 5k, as a fun challenge to raise money for local charity, 4Sight Vision Support, who are supporting me in my sight loss journey. 

I have lived with sight loss since birth, and so I do not know anything different and have had to adapt. I am blind in my right eye, and have 30% vision remaining in my left. I have tunnel vision and nystagmus, too - this is involuntary eye movements. 

I never want my sight loss to stop me from doing the things I want to do! 

I want to encourage others to overcome the barriers they may face, and join me in this fun festive run/ walk or jog. It will be a great way to cheer people up after a difficult year, and I hope to spread some joy when I am out on my run. 

I will be completing the 5k at Southwater Country Park, and will be joined by my friend Jenny Fulton who will also be my sighted guide.
