Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.This page was initially setup to allow people to sponsor Ben Wooldridge and his friends for their bike ride from Moorends to Doncaster Lakeside in memory of Ben's cousin Beth Fitzpatrick.

Ben and his friends succesfully completed their ride on Saturday April 30th 2011.

If anyone would like to continue to add to the amount raised by Ben then please feel free to do so. All money gratefully accepted on behalf of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Once Beth was diagnosed in December 2010, she was moved to the Teenage Cancer Trusts (TCT) Oncology ward within Leeds General Infirmary(LGI). She started Chemotherapy on Xmas Eve 2010. Beth was a patient when Angela Griffin officially opened the unit on March 18th 2011.

The TCT allowed Beths Mum to stay with her 24hrs during her stays within LGI, and provided accomodation for Beths dad to stay locally as required.

Beth sadly passed away on Mothers Day 2011 aged just 14.

In the words of Beth's mum Alison - "The charity was Beth's choice as they made a horrendous journey so much better than it would have been in an ordinary hospital ward."
