On Sunday 6th October I will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon in aid of Welsh Women's Aid, one of the Lord Mayor of Cardiff charity beneficiaries. 

Welsh Women's Aid is the national charity in Wales working to end domestic abuse and all forms of violence against women. They campaign endlessly to improve practice and services of violence and abuse, and work to influence and improve law and policy in Wales, the UK and internationally. 

They speak out about things that matter to people who have experienced abuse, and to the services that support them, in order to raise awareness about important, but often ignored, issues.

I have only ever ran a maximum of 10k, so this is a real challenge for me! Any support you can give to such an amazing cause is much appreciated.
