Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

February 2023 I started my running journey and here I am 9 months later preparing to run my biggest challenge so far! I hope you can help support me in aid of an incredible local charity.

On April 7th 2024 I will be taking part in the London landmarks half marathon. I’m running this in aid of an amazing local charity ‘Bosom family support’. This charity helps support families affected by cancer. From emotional support right at the beginning of their journey through to continued support years later and everything else in between if there’s a way they can help, guide or support they will make sure they do. They ensure there is always someone to talk to, there’s always a point of call or even a meal provided to give a family a pressure free meal time they can sit down to and enjoy together.

This charity has so much to offer and continues to support so many families in the North Lincolnshire area. Bosom Family Support bridge the gap between doctors, hospitals and Macmillan Care where patients and loved ones are left to navigate this time themselves whilst dealing with lots of emotional hurdles along the way.

Any donation big or small makes a huge impact to so many family’s under the radar of this amazing charity. Your support is hugely appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

We are Bosom Family Support - a group of fighters, survivors and supporters offering advice, counselling, activities and other services to support individuals and families in the Northern Lincolnshire area affected by cancer. We are based at Hope House in Scunthorpe - our community hub.
