We exist to change lives through reading and writing

Story

Nine of us from Better World Books have teamed up to run the EMF 10km. Most of us have never run 10km before, so this is a huge challenge! We're doing it to support Scottish Book Trust, a literacy charity that does excellent work here in Scotland to promote reading.

Better World Books is a for-profit socially minded business based in Dunfermline. We find new homes for pre-loved books by selling them and donating a portion of each sale to literacy, or by donating them. If we are unable to sell or donate a book we will recycle it. Literacy is at the core of what we do. Visit http://www.betterworldbooks.co.uk/info.aspx to find out more about us.

Scottish Book Trust is one of the five literacy charities that we support. They work with people throughout Scotland to promote the pleasure and benefits of reading and books. You can find out more about them here: http://www.scottishbooktrust.com/
