<p>After all the grueling training during the winter months it will be fabulous to run the world's most famous marathon on 22 April 2012 in London. Our practice team at Straid Veterinary Clinic Beaconsfield is planning to be there to support me through it. As a feline specialist I would like to use this opportunity to raise donations for the Cats Protection Charity. When I moved to the UK in 1997 I went straight to the CPL and adopted my feline friends Herbie and Elsa. Elsa died in 2010 when she was 18 years old. Our local branch has enabled us to treat countless unfortunate sick and homeless cats before finding them loving homes. They support neutering schemes, promote feline health care and much more.
