Betty Richards is 90 years young and a fabulous volunteer for the Macular Society, and other charities. She has been volunteering for over 50 years and recently won an award, the Les Ballard award for volunteering in Fareham in June 2017.

Tommy McInulty is the Regional Manager for the Macular Society (South Central) and has been working in sight loss for 25 years.  Both Tommy and Betty are visually impaired and decided that shimmying down the tower would be great way to celebrate the 30 years of the Macular Society, so please dig deep and sponsor us today! Soaring 170 Meters above Portsmouth harbour and the Solent, the Emirates Spinnaker Tower is taller than the London Eye, Blackpool Tower and Big Ben and has already established itself as a national icon for Britain.
