I’m doing my first sprint triathlon consisting of 750m open water swim, 25k bike ride and 5k run to raise money for Genetic Disorders Uk (Jeans for Genes). A charity that supports individuals and families affected by genetic disorders. It is estimated 1 in 25 children are affected by a genetic disorder. This means in the UK, 30,000 babies and children are newly diagnosed each year and more than half a million children and adults are living with a genetic disorder. 

I hope in some small way my fund raising will help the charity support those affected by a genetic disorder.
