On Friday 18th August my mum, Beverley Cooper, will be shaving her head in hope of raising £2000 in donations for the Love Musgrove, Musgrove Park Hospital's charity

Following a serious horse riding accident my mum was rushed to hospital and diagnosed with a broken vertebra and a separate dislocated vertebra in her spine. Her injury has resulted in two separate spinal operations with potentially a third in the pipeline. She'll be in a full body brace and be unable to walk unassisted for several months with a total recovery time of 2 years

Being the wonderfully selfless person she is, she wanted to do something to support her local hospital and those who work there who have been so brilliant with her in her time of need, and to ensure that the fantastic level of care continues for all in the future

Love Musgrove is a charity dedicated to providing training and development to staff, providing state of the art equipment as well as fund individual wards to allow them to invest in equipment to improve the comfort and quality of stay for all patients
