We help renal patients in Sheffield to cope with kidney failure

Story

Please take up the challenge to walk 62 miles in October, with or without a dog, in memory of my Daughter Scarlett O'Keefe who passed away in April last year from kidney and liver failure.

Scarlett loved dogs and had her own Beagle Fifi 5 toes , both seen in the picture above. Whilst she was waiting for her transplants Scarlett made plans to raise funds through a charity dog walk when she was better, but sadly she did not get better, so I will be doing the walk with Fifi in her memory and I invite you to do the same to raise funds for the Sheffield Area Kidney Association ( SAKA) a charity that Scarlett was passionate about, not least because 100% of funds raised benefit renal patents, giving financial support and help to buy essential items and travel costs when times are hard.

You can sign up to the Team Scarlett facebook page here:

https://www.facebook.com/TeamScarlettCharityDogWalk

where you can download a sponsorship form and share photos and or videos to update everyone   of your progress throughout October.

To take up the challenge you can:

give now and complete your walk in October or;

set yourself a fundraising target and ask your friends and family to sponsor you. After collecting and banking the money you have raised  you can then donate what you have raised from your account on this page.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

SAKA was set up in 1976 by a group of medical staff and renal patients. We aim to help kidney patients and their families cope with kidney failure and we raise funds for research into kidney disease. We give direct financial help to renal patients when they are struggling, and represent their views.
