Story
On Saturday 7th July Bev, Nigel, Rhiannon and Charlotte are tackling the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
Armed with a compass, map and a big dollop of northern and midland grit, we'll be walking 24 very hilly miles including Pen-y-Ghent (2,277ft), Whernside (2,415ft) and Ingleborough (2,372ft) - all of this in one day.
We’re doing this to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, which is funding over half a billion pounds of research (and that equates to over 1,000 research projects) into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all forms of cardiovascular disease, something that has touched all of our lives.
We appreciate any support and donations you can give us - this isn’t the kind of thing we do every day so let’s hope our Yorkshire genes kick in!
