I never got a chance to meet my grandmother as she past away before I was born but I know she is looking down on me and my mum and would be really proud of us for committing and getting involved in helping to beat breast cancer!!

The reason I am doing the walk is to raise money and awareness for such an important charity that is close to my heart.

My mother recently got diagnosed with breast cancer and I can honestly say I've never felt so scared in my life. Loosing my dad when I was young as well made me think how precious life is and that life is too short to take for granteed.

I may potenially face being diagnosed with breast cancer in the future as it is heretigitary and can be passed down in generation so with the help support, technology and people there to make a change and difference to health and life itself, I really do hope to make a difference and it may not be much but its enough to say I have done my part and given to those who need it the most.
