We completed our challege in good time: having left Land's End at 7.30am on Monday 28th February we arrived at John O'Groats at 02.21am on Saturday 5th March 2011.

Thanks to all the courageous people who decided to help me with the mad idea of a scooter challenge.  

Following a visit to the Gift of Sight Research Laboratory I decided to organise an unusual challenge to raise funds to help Professor Andrew Lotery and his team push forward with their research into eye disease. We all take our sight for granted until something happens and the work being undertaken in Southampton is already saving the sight of patients in our area. http://www.giftofsight.org.uk/
