Dad (Bill) found out about Farm Africa through his own interest in farming, and a recognition of how important agriculture is for rural communities in Africa from his occasional visits to his sister and two of his children that have worked long-term in Africa.  

He regularly hosted summer fundraising events at the family home "Little Hidden Farm", and over the years has raised over £35,000 for Farm Africa. 

His most recent effort was to volunteer his two sons (Will and Jamie), and various other friends into the Farm Africa Ride 100 team in 2016 and again in 2017. 

He invites all his friends and family with a shared interest in the work of Farm Africa to add to that as part of his legacy.  

Bill's family will be delighted to help him reach a target of £10,000 for Farm Africa.
