As the Manchester United reporter for BBC Radio Manchester I'm fortunate enough to follow the Reds home and away, but I can honestly say I've never sat in my seat in the press box at Old Trafford and looked up at the roof and thought about throwing myself over the edge and dropping 140 feet to pitchside.

 

However that's exactly what I'll be doing by abseiling from the roof of Old Trafford, to raise money for The Christie Hospital's mobile chemotherapy unit.

 

Everyone is affected by cancer, and The Christie does so much good work, largely thanks to charitable donations, so please give generously - even if it's just to see me take a fall!
