In loving memory of Billy McAteer

BRODIES FUNERAL SERVICES is raising money for Headway - the brain injury association
In memory of Billy Mcateer
EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

In lieu of flowers, we have decided to offer charitable donations in favour of ‘Headway, the Brain Injury Association’ to raise awareness and provide much needed support to those suffering with brain injury.

Brain injury can challenge every aspect of your life – walking, talking, thinking and feeling – and the losses can be severe and permanent. It can mean losing both the life you once lived and the person you once were. We all think 'it will never happen to me', but every year around 350,000 people are admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury. That's one every 90 seconds. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, Headway is here to help.

All donations are greatly appreciated in honour of our husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, friend and colleague Billy McAteer.
