My world changed forever on 19th July 2020 when I was visited at home by police officers who told me that my lovely Dad had taken his own life.  It's hard to know at that moment how you will ever cope or process such a horrendous event but we were lucky enough to be put in touch with the mental health charity Mind and in particular their Suicide Bereavement Team.  

The help and support that they have given to Mum and I has been phenomenal. I truly don’t know how we could have coped without them. Sadly their services are needed by more and more families every day and so in an effort for something positive to come from the loss of my Dad I am asking if you’d consider sponsoring me to do The Great South Run to raise vital funds for Mind so they can continue to help families like mine.
