Where do I start?

Wow, I first got interested in The Marathon des Sables about 30 years ago , I looked at it every year and thought “one day I’ll do that” then I woke up one morning the wrong side of 50 with a metal hip and a knackered knee ! Not sure where the time went ....., life has been a rollercoaster, I’ve done things perhaps I shouldn’t have , not done things I should have, I’ve always tried to be a good man,a good dad ,I lost someone very close which destroys me everyday but we carry on , I’m fortunate to have a lovely ,supporting wife & family and it’s time to tick this massive event off my list and raise money, hopefully lots of money in the process.

My little girl is disabled and her life has been a battle from the moment she was born and will continue to be a battle : that’s why I chose Scope as the charity I’m running for ,when I’m not here anymore then I want to know people will still fight for her as no matter how old she is ,she will always be my little girl.
