Story

Bloody Good Period is a voluntary action group supported by the Centre for Innovation in Voluntary Action. Funds raised are for the use of BGP.

Bloody Good Period provides toiletries and sanitary products to asylum seekers, refugees & those who can't afford them. They (we!) accept donations in kind and raise funds in order to supply them to asylum seeker drop-in centres and food banks in London and the UK.

Bloody Good Period aims to create a sustainable flow (pun intended) of period supplies and toiletries for those who can't afford to buy them.

Period supplies are not cheap. But they are essential.

Many living in poverty resort to using toilet paper, old scraps of fabric or nothing at all.

We believe that by taking care of their periods, we can make sure these people have one less thing to worry about. Find out more about Bloody Good Period on their website:

Sponsored runs:

Joe: I am running a marathon on the 11th March, training has been a bit up and down so far (I write this with still very sore legs 3 days after my longest run to date), but I am sure it will all be alright on the day.... Your sponsorship will of course make it all worthwhile, and more importantly it will help Bloody Good Period's work.

Jess: I  am running 10k on the 14th February around the Olympic Park here in London. I have been training for it since Christmas and would be really grateful for any donations. Thank you
