The details...
Boots' aim is to clock up 290,000 miles to raise funds for MacMillan cancer support - that's one for every person diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK
The Boots business teams with their partners and suppliers will be out on the streets walking from Castle Cary, the birthplace of Douglas Macmillan to Nottingham, the birthplace of Jesse Boot and where the main Boots support office is based, approximately 160miles over 7 days
To spread the fun, the route has been split into 7 different stages, with different Boots teams deciding what they will be doing on their journey!
Day 1 - Castle Cary to Melksham
The Boots Multichannel, Loyalty and Insights teams with their partners and suppliers will be cycling or walking from Castle cary to Melksham on the 1st September with an aim of everyone in the team taking part in some way shape or form, cycling, walking, driving support vehicles or collecting in one of the four towns we visit - Castle Cary, Frome, Trowbridge, Melksham
Along the 28 miles we will be giving out samples and freebies, helping people to have a FEEL GOOD moment. Whether it’s a new lipstick, a baby's toy or just a smile we’ll be handing them out to everyone we meet and all we ask in return is for a small donation.
Thank you for supporting the Boots team with your donation
