Story
For almost 5 ruddy years cancer took great pleasure in kicking my ass and now having had the all clear in January 2018, I'm fighting back.
I'm sure you're all familiar with my story, diagnosed with breast cancer at 23 which then spread to my lymph nodes and my shoulder bone. This resulted in multiple surgeries, boobie chopped up, lymph nodes and nerves removed from my armpits, shoulder dislocated and then broken and little pins inserted into my back.
Was that all I hear you say?
No! No it wasn't! I went on to have Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, Cyber knife treatment and then remained on a preventative treatment which was injected into me every 3 weeks for almost 5 years, 5 looooooooooong years!
I'm fighting to raise £750 for Breast Cancer Care. They have a free hotline for struggling cancer patients and they want it to remain free.
But I'm also doing this for me, this is my way of throwing two fingers up to the disease that tried to kill me.
