Some of you will have known me back in 2011, when I had life saving brain surgery at The Royal Hallamshire Hospital here in Sheffield.  The surgery was to remove a slow growing tumour that was causing elevated Intra- cranial pressure and in the stages nearing my hospital admission, I was losing balance, experiencing visual disturbances and in agony. I  knew I was very sick. 

Following 2011 and the long stay in hospital, March- June in and out three times due to wound failure, (which required further surgery) due to infection and pseudomeningocele. (abnormal collection of spinal fluid that can occur after spinal or brain surgery). which required a few lumbar punctures! I realize I am very lucky to be here today. Brain tumour research is vastly under funded, as are many  areas in health care. Please sponsor me xX
