After finding a passion for running, I've decided to run the Birmingham Great 10K Run on Sunday May 3 2015 & the Birmingham Great Run Half Marathon on 18 October 2015 in support of Alice Chairty.

Alice are a local charity that support families in Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme socially, emotionally and financially through the experience of safeness, kindness, warmth and compassion. 

They are a massive boost to individuals, families and local communities. They work extremely hard on a huge range of projects from weekly support groups & organising fun events, to purchasing essential household items such as cookers & furniture. 

Their hard working team really do make a massive difference, and many families rely on them for support. Further, Alice supports parents to help them provide a safe and nurturing home environment for their children.

Far too many families, unfortunately, have virtually no essentials that most of us take for granted. Many go without items such as: curtains, fridges, beds, vacuum cleaners, carpets, even clothes and food. Thus, families are left in very vulnerable and risky environments, especially when raising young ones. Alice are constantly working around the clock to help visiting homes, trying to provide as much suppose but on a limited budget. 

Their mission is help 5000 families by 2017, lets help their dedicated, thoughtful and selfless workers to make this happen! 

Whatever the donation, which is fully appreciated, your funds will go extremely far to help those most in need and help Alice's team to do what they do best!
