Story

Hey,

Thanks for checking out my donation page.  This is my first proper attempt at raising money for charity, I thought a nice wee bike ride would be a good place to start!

I have chosen to donate all of the money I can raise to Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS).  Like most people I didn't know or think much about the illnesses / issues that CHSS help people deal with until my life was touched by them.  I want to try and raise as much money (even if it's a small amount every little helps) as I can to help them help as many people as they can.  I will be doing the cycle in honour of someone who brought happiness into many peoples lives.

I would be most grateful for any donation that you would be will to give, no matter how small, it all adds up.

A quick blurb about me (if you don't know me).  I'm a 27 year old civil engineer living in Glasgow.  I love sport and have been involved in a number of different sports throughout my life.  Right now I'm a squash fanatic who is becoming a keen convert to road cycling (i.e. a glutton for punishment!).  So hopeful 1000 miles on a bicycle is achievable.  I'm doing the ride with two of my closets friends, who will hopefully still be my friends when we reach John O'Groats.  We will be completing the ride in 11-12 days, starting on the 20th July.

Thanks again for coming to my donation page and thank you very much if you are kind enough to make a donation, it's all going to a great cause.

Thanks,

Brendan
