This week 1762 from Brewin Dolphin has launched a new challenge to help raise funds for the charity SHP – Single Homeless Project - which is a London-wide charity working to prevent homelessness and help vulnerable and socially excluded people to transform their lives. The Coronavirus pandemic has gripped the nation and the virus presents a high risk to the people SHP works with - many of whom have long-term physical health conditions. 

 
That's why from the 10th July to the 10th August the 1762 from Brewin Dolphin team are outdoor and virtual walking, running, cycling and swimming 1,762 miles (2,836 km) - just to put this in perspective, this is the equivalent of walking from London to Ankara in Turkey! We would like to raise as much money as possible to help this worthwhile cause and will be working together to support homeless Londoners through this crisis.

Please support our 1762 mile challenge and donate today to help SHP. As many of us remain working from home, you may want to think about donations in terms of your commute:- £5 sponsorship (single tube journey) pays for two hot meals in one of the SHP hostels.- £12 sponsorship (Day travelcard) pays for two food parcels delivered to vulnerable person self-isolating.- £35 sponsorship (weekly travelcard) pays for 35 litres of hand sanitiser.- £140 sponsorship (monthly travelcard) pays for eight hours of vital staff support in a hostel.

Our 1762 from Brewin Dolphin team fundraiser will also be supported by individual 1762 team members who are posting additional innovative and creative plans so please keep an eye out for these 😊
