Story

  Event Date:                      12th June 2016

I am 46 years old and I have never done anything serious for charity, that is until now! It was late last year that I had the urge to change this and came up with this crazy idea of walking from St Pauls' Cathedral in London all the way down to Lands' End in Cornwall.

I Started looking at the map to see if it was at all possible  to create a route which took me from Premier Inn to Premier Inn for the entire journey, and it was, well at least I think so? I realise now of course that I'm completely mad and this is going to be really challenging for me both mentally and physically.

I am self-employed and I am limited to how long I can afford to be off work and I am trying to fund this entire event myself. But the thought of taking just two weeks out of my usual life to try to raise as much money as possible to help those far less fortunate than myself is what's really driving me on.

It was always going to be a children's charity but I chose 'Make a Wish UK'  as it's a nationally recognised charity and the work they do makes such an incredible difference to some very deserving children and also their families.

Please help now by making  a donation of what ever you can. Thank you so much for your support, it will be so well appreciated!
