Update 1
The big day is almost upon us and you have all been so kind with your generous donations which I thank you all for. It would be fantastic to see as many of you as possible on the day. I will be running under the number 37704 - please give me a cheer! Many thanks again for all your support.

I am running the 2010 London Marathon in the name of my nephew, James Carnaby. James was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour in June 2007. After the surgeon had removed it, James suffered from a rare condition known as Posterior Fossa syndrome. This meant that he lost his gross and fine motor skills, was confined to a wheelchair and had lost the ability to speak. He had to endure all the treatment for his cancer without being able to tell anyone how he was feeling.
When he had recovered enough from his treatment, he was lucky enough to be given the chance to go to The Children's Trust for 5 months. On his return home he was able to walk again and the therapy had helped him regain his speech. The help and guidance James was given at The Children's Trust was unbelievable and it was as if they had performed a miracle. What The Children's Trust offer to children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs is hope and a second chance. The work they do is worthy of your donation.
Please give generously so that this wonderful charity can benefit many more children for many years to come.
