Story
Bristol Bombers Lacrosse Club is raising £1,173 for Access Sport by moving 1173km between the 8th Feb 2021- 21st Mar 2021.
This includes running, cycling, walking, swimming or whatever it takes to "Get Moving".
The men's side of the team chose 1173km because that is the distance for us to travel to all the clubs in the SEMLA league. Sadly, we won't be travelling this distance to play lacrosse, so we decided to do something a bit different this year.
Who are we?
Bristol Bombers Lacrosse Club was formed in 2007 by a handful of enthusiasts. Bristol Bombers has now grown into one of the biggest Men's and Ladies' lacrosse clubs in the country.

Here is some more information about the awesome charity we have chosen to raise money for...
Access Sport believe all young people should be able to experience the power of sport. However, over the past few years, the number of people on low incomes participating in sport has fallen nearly 50,000, causing a third of UK children being classified as obese or overweight, sidelining the poor and vulnerable. Your support makes a real difference in creating a level playing field, giving under-represented and at-risk young people regardless of ability, gender, background or ethnicity, the chance to enhance their life prospects through sport.
