Broadland First Responders is raising money for East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust Charitable Fund

New Responder Kits. · 31 December 2021

Working with the East of England Ambulance Service, the charity supports local ambulance stations and other healthcare initiatives. The charity also serves the Community First Responder (CFR) groups in east of England region. Local CFR volunteers are trained in first on scene lifesaving skills.

Story

Broadland First Responders respond to medical emergencies, being deployed directly by East of England Ambulance Service Trust 999 Control Centre.  We are solely funded by donations and fund raising, and are all volunteers.  We have 2 new responders who have completed their training in June 2023, we would like to be able to provide them each with their own kit to respond with - each kit costs in the region of £1800 - which includes, AED, Pulsox, kit bags and contents, O2 and consumables, and or course uniform and PPE.  We are a busy team especially during the Summer months when we support not only our local community but also all our holiday makers.  We aim to offer the best cover we can to keep our community safe.  If you can spare a few pennies to help us meet our target then we will be extremely grateful.
