Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  Each year Brodies supports Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres, a charity providing free support and advice to persons diagnosed with cancer, as well as their relatives and carers. The centres provide information, benefits advice, psychological support both individually and in groups, courses and stress reducing strategies.

The challenge is rather fittingly called 'Maggie’s MONSTER Bike and Hike' and consists of a 30mile cycle immediately followed by a 43 mile hike through the night.  We will be setting off from Fort William on the morning of Saturday 1st May and finishing in Inverness with a few stops for cake and encouragement along the way.  This year 18 brave souls have taken up the challenge, under a variety of rather odd team names: ‘Sugababes vs. Jedward’, ‘All who wander are not lost’, 'B Roadies', and 'There is no 'I' in team but there is a pub in Invermoriston'.  Martin English is also part of our team and has set up his own page at www.justgiving.com/Martin-English however can also be sponsored on this page as it will all go towards the same grand total!

Last year Brodies raised a total of £13,000 and we hope to top that sum this year.   If you would like to help us achieve this goal, please click on the link below and donate – your support is greatly appreciated!!
