Hi everyone! The Centre for Computing History is in a spot of bother. You see, because the UK public can't currently go anywhere, and everywhere we'd want to go to is closed anyway, all the Centre's revenue streams have dried up a little.

So we're aiming to bring them a little rain.

A whole motley crew of UK YouTubers and streamers have got together to run a big streamathon, starting at 7PM this Friday, May 8th and running over the whole weekend. Do come along, we'd love to have you.

The current schedule can be found here:

Broken Circus is a variety retro gaming channel, operating on YouTube and Twitch, that focusses on the history of games while attempting to have a bit of fun in the process.

Who else is coming along? At the moment:

  • AF Retro
  • Ashens
  • Chris O'Regan
  • Jason Bradbury
  • Michiel Kroder
  • Nostalgia Nerd
  • Octavius
  • One Life Left
  • Re-Enthused

...and more to come. Keep an eye on the updates section for the juicy details.

The Centre's story follows.

The unprecedented times of this Coronavirus lockdown means the museum has no visitors or schools attending, no workshops and events ... and these are what keep us going. Almost 100% of the income from these streams is gone. We need your help.
