Virgin London Marathon 2012 · 22 April 2012 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
As you may or may not know for the last 3 years I have attempted to run the London Marathon. unfortunately due to a foot injury that is still on going I have had to defer my place. With frustration mounting I have decided to participate in the Ride London Event on 10th August 2014.Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 is a 100 mile challenge which is basically like the London marathon but on wheels! I'm so excited to be doing this as it's been a long time coming.
My reasons for doing this are for the bravest guy I know. Jay xx
Iate March 2011 Jay, then 22, was working as a stunt man at Legoland, Windsor. He was just starting what was looking to be a promising career in the stunt field. Whilst performing a pitched back somersault the stunt went horribly wrong and resulted in Jay suffering horrific injuries, including: Breaking his neck and damaging his spinal cord. This has left Jay paralysed from the shoulders down and he will now need constant 24 hour care for the rest of his life. Before this had happened Jay and I had been in the cast of Peter Pan during Xmas.
Please give as little or as much as you can as every penny will count!
Many Thanks,
Bron x
