I’m fundraising for Genetic Disorders UK in support of my amazing nephew. In spite of all the challenges he faces, his determination has no limits, his cheeky laugh brightens our days and his smile melts our hearts.

It’s estimated that 1 in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder. This means that in the UK, 30,000 babies and children are newly diagnosed each year.

Genetic Disorders UK provide grants to disorder-specific charities to fund inspiring projects and support services like practical day-to-day support, equipment, respite and events which bring families together to help them feel less isolated.
