Hi everyone!

I am participating in a sailing race around the world (“Clipper round the world”). Twelve teams on board 70 ft yachts will race during 11 months and navigate over 40,000 nautical miles. The race starts on Aug 30^th 2015 in London and ends in July 2016 back to London. This races differs from other around the globe races in that the ~20 crew members are ordinary people (not professional sailor) with a good part not having any prior sailing experience (my case)!

I will participate in the 3 last legs of the race starting in March 2016 for 5 months and ~ 14,400 miles: from Qingdao (China) to Seattle (USA); Seattle to New York (via Panama canal)and finally from New York to London.

My team “Team Olivier” takes part in fundraising for Unicef (official partner of the race). Unicef is a humanitary association for the protection of children around the world. For more information about Unicef, please visit their web site (http://www.unicef.org/ ).
